Slideshows

Easily create slideshows, edit in a central location, embed on any page on your site.

Concepts to understand:

Slideshow – a collection of slides that can be embedded on pages/posts. Use the slideshow editor to create a slideshow, add new slides, rearrange slides, etc.

Slides – an image with optional caption text to be used in a slideshow. Each slide may contain a title and caption, with caption placement determined by quadrants, also on a slide-by-slide basis. Slide contents can be targeted and styled with Custom CSS.

How to use:

• Create a new slideshow by going to WP dashboard click Slideshows and click Add New button on the Manage Slideshows page.
• Give you slideshow a name.
• You start with one slide; add an image, add optional titles and captions. Determine the placement of the caption.
• Add more slides and edit slide content until you are finished.
• Set an option default height
• Save slideshow.

Walk through the slideshow included on the practice site.

Hands-On:

• Rearrange the slides in the existing slideshow
• Add a new slide to the existing slideshow
• As time allows, create a new slideshow
